Fair Housing of the Dakotas The Fair Housing of the Dakotas follows and tracks state legislation of interest in North and South Dakota and any federal legislation. Since 2003, the FHD has made state tracking information available in North Dakota and, in 2007, also made the information available for South Dakota as a way to better track and follow state legislation for the Fair Housing of the Dakotas and its constituents. In 2007, we also began posting the information online as opposed to providing via email in previous sessions. Alternative formats of the information available on this site is available upon request. STATE LEGISLATION Legislation tracked on grids focuses on housing and discrimination related issues but also covers other topic areas (human rights, native issues, culture, etc.) which may have an impact upon clients of the FHD. The information tracked is for informational purposes only and does not designate FHD endorsement of any particular legislation or bill. Errors may occur so we encourage you to not just rely on this information. If legislation is of interest to you, you should follow through as appropriate on your own. If you have questions, contact Amy at ndfhc2@btinet.net at the FHD. Below is direct information on the legislative sessions as well as tracking grids.
